Binary Music wishes all our customers and general community all the best through the current Coronavirus pandemic. We are open for business both in-store and online and we have taken every precaution to make your shopping experience as safe as possible. We are pleased to say all our services both online and in-store are operating normally.
We are also advising there have been supply chain issues for importers so many stock items are in short supply and/or experiencing delayed delivery times. We expect there will also be significant price rises owing to the rising costs of shipping to Australia. Please check to confirm current pricing on items in stock.
From all of us here at Binary Music we wish all our customers a continued sustained recovery both economically and socially.
Open for Business
We are open for business and have a great selection of instruments, accessories and sheet music in-store. With Christmas less than a month away, we are advising people to finalise their Christmas purchases as soon as possible.
Our New Protocol:
- Customers are requested to use our hand sanitisers as they enter the store before approaching staff or the front counter. Please ask us before touching or trying any instrument, so we can have it cleaned after use
- We are practising increased sanitising and disinfecting of all surfaces and areas within the store
- We ask customers to adhere to recommended social distancing between staff and customers
Classes and Lessons
With the easing of restrictions Stage 5 announced by the Queensland Government on1st November and updated on 17th November, we can now do more in-store activities adhering to the 1 person per 2 square metre rule. We will continue to keep you informed and up-to-date and you can stay connected with us via our social media communities (find us on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube).
Our individual guitar and other instrumental lessons are now back to in-studio lessons. Our ukulele classes will continue as combined studio and online classes via the Zoom Cloud Meetings app (see https://zoom.us details here). For the group sessions, please purchase tickets via the Trybooking link which we will provide each week.
For those with extra time on their hands, now would be an ideal time to sign up to our ukulele or guitar club websites, where you can access libraries of song charts and learning resources for a small annual subscription fee.
On-line Orders & Safe Distancing
In the best interests of customers and couriers safe distancing will be implemented when goods are delivered to you. All our carriers are now defaulting deliveries to Authority to Leave and will not be requesting a physical signature from the customer or receiver. The driver will knock or ring the bell, place the goods on the ground and step away. Once the goods are left in a safe area, delivery drivers will do their best to make a note of the location or take a picture as proof of delivery. All of our courier providers are implementing this process including Fastway, Couriers Please, and Australia Post.
We encourage you to have items delivered to a secure location where a responsible adult will be present during normal business hours
We ask for your patience and understanding if you do experience delivery delays in this ‘New Normal’ environment. Binary Music and our courier partners will continue to strive for the best practice possible under the current circumstances.
